The afternoon is the village and the sunset. The evening is the part most visitors never get right: the grilled fish, the noodle carts, the sweets and the market stalls, eaten where locals eat them, with a guide who orders. A set price for the day; choose Kompong Phluk for the flooded forest or Kompong Khleang for the houseboat villages.

Good to know
Is the food included?
Yes. The evening is a set tasting of eight to ten things across several stalls, with drinks. Tell us about allergies when you book; vegetarian and vegan versions are easy.
What time does it finish?
Around 9 pm, back at your hotel or wherever you prefer in town.
Is it the same price for both villages?
Yes. The Kompong Khleang version is a longer afternoon because the village is further; the price is the same.
Can we do it without the village, just the food?
The food evening is an add-on to a lake day rather than a tour on its own. Ask us on WhatsApp if you only want the evening.
