Good to know

How many people are on the tour?

Between 4 and 10. The tour runs with a minimum of 4 guests. If fewer have booked, we refer you to a partner operator so you can still do the tour that day, or you can switch to a private day with us.

Why is it longer than the Kompong Phluk tour?

Kompong Khleang is 50 km from Siem Reap, about an hour each way, and the village itself is much bigger. The drive is part of the day: countryside, sticky rice, a bakery, a pagoda.

Is there a flooded forest?

A small one, reachable by canoe on private tours between July and January. For the big flooded forest choose the Kompong Phluk tour.

What is it like in the dry season?

From February to July the water drops nine metres and the village lives on the ground beneath the stilts. You drive through half of it before boarding. Different, not worse.

What if I need to cancel?
