Who takes you

Our guides grew up
on this water.

Every guide on our team is from the lake: Kompong Phluk, Kompong Khleang, Mechrey, Prek Toal, Kompong Luong. When they take you through a village they are showing you home: the pagoda where they were blessed as children, the family boats, the neighbours drying fish on the walkway, the school they paddled to.

Locally owned and run since 2017, with a representative in each of the five villages, across three provinces. There is no office in another country deciding what you see. The people who live on the water do.

Know the lake before you go

The river that runs
both ways.

Every monsoon the Mekong forces the Tonle Sap River backwards and the lake grows five times over, flooding the forest and lifting the villages on their stilts. Our guides explain what you'll see, so you can choose the right village and the right month, and know the real prices before you go.

★★★★★
“Our guide was born and raised in the floating village itself, so he knew everyone and everything about life on the water.”

Sample report: high water, canoes running

This is a sample so you can see the layout; it will be replaced by the first real report. Each report is a date, a village, one to six photos and a few lines about the day: the water, the forest, the light, anything a guest about to book would want to know.
